Step inside Dame Nellie Melba’s private cottage on a guided 60-minute tour led by our in-house historian. Discover the life, stories, and personal collection of one of Australia’s most famous women as you explore the beautifully preserved rooms of this National Trust-listed home.
Please note: tours are capped at 10 guests per session — bookings are essential. Walking sticks are welcome, however, the cottage is not wheelchair accessible. Tours are only available as part of an experience (lunch or high tea) and cannot be purchased separately.

A Painting and Sparkling Masterclass
Immerse yourself in a luxury, outdoor sip-and-paint workshop set within the historic Melba Gardens at Coombe Yarra Valley. Hosted by Melbourne artist and fashion illustrator Susan Kerian, this intimate three-hour event offers expert guidance to capture the estate's vibrant flora on canvas.
Guests will enjoy a Peach Melba Spritz on arrival, free-flowing estate wines and sparkling, and an individual gourmet charcuterie and cheese board while painting.
Tickets are $140.00 per person and include all art supplies to create a completed canvas artwork to take home.
