Leading our kitchen is Executive Chef Neil Cunningham, a culinary leader whose passion for seasonal, locally sourced ingredients shapes every dish at Coombe Yarra Valley. With over 20 years of experience, Neil’s career has spanned prestigious kitchens across the United Kingdom, where he honed his skills in Michelin-recommended restaurants before bringing his expertise to Australia.
Since joining Coombe Yarra Valley seven years ago, Neil has played a pivotal role in shaping the restaurant’s identity — one that champions the Yarra Valley’s exceptional produce and offering a menu that is elegant in execution and grounded in seasonality.
Neil’s dedication to craftsmanship is evident not only in the plate but also in the kitchen culture he fosters. A mentor to many young chefs, he is passionate about nurturing talent and encouraging innovation while maintaining a deep respect for classical techniques.
Severe Allergies and Anaphylaxis
While we take great care in preparing our high tea, the nature of our kitchen means we cannot guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur.
For guests with severe allergies to nuts, seeds, sesame, soy, egg, dairy, or seafood we may not be able to accommodate severe allergies, and we kindly suggest exploring other high tea venues that may better suit your needs.
If high tea remains your preference, please contact a member of our team to discuss your requirements before booking.
Food Intolerances
To ensure our kitchen can prepare a high tea that suits your requirements, we ask for 72 hours’ notice for any food intolerances. Without this advance notice, we may not be able to cater to specific dietary needs. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team to discuss any concerns or requirements ahead of your visit.
