Our newly renovated cellar door - located at Coombe, The Melba Estate - is open 10am- 5pm, Wednesday- Sunday.
The sleek design offers a relaxed and casual atmosphere to enjoy a stand up tasting of the range, lighter meal options from our cellar door menu or a glass of wine and croquet in the garden. Guests may also elect to taste through one of our tutored food and wine flights - four samples of wine paired with carefully curated regional bites prepared by the kitchen (bookings required for groups of 4 or more).
Standard tastings are charged at $5 per person (complementary to Melba Estate Club members) which is redeemable on any full bottle purchase. Food and wine flights are charged at $25 per flight, with one complementary tasting offered to new member sign ups.

Just 5km North of the Melba Estate (home of Coombe Farm Cellar Door) the vineyard is one of the oldest in the Valley and is still owned and operated by Melba's descendants, the Vestey family. Having supplied grapes to some of Australia's most recognised producers, an increasing portion of fruit is now being grown and selected specifically for the Coombe Farm brand.
The range features fine, traditional style Sparkling and elegant, cool climate tables wines that are classically varietal and regionally expressive. All wines are handcrafted in small volumes, from fruit deemed to be the best the vineyard has to offer.
Coombe Farm’s Estate range are produced from grapes selected each year as the best the estate has to offer. Varieties include regional specialties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, as well as the very popular Pinot Gris and newly planted Shiraz. Wines are hand picked and handcrafted in small batches and where oak is used for fermentation or maturation, only the finest is sourced.
Our Tribute wines, named to honour the legacy of our forefathers are made only in the best vintages and blended only from the best barrels and wine batches.
